I agree,... I wish you were my neighbor. I'm currently dealing with a neighbor with 4 sons who has turned their front yard into an ad hoc skateboard park. Ramps, rails, you name it. And it goes on for up to 5 hours everyday, with friends coming along for the ride, sometimes well into the night. I've tried negotiating with the home renter and landlord, but they were surprisingly EXTREMELY belligerent and basically cursed me out. The landlord simply told us to call the cops and has washed his hands of it. I was trying to avoid getting the police involved since resources are so limited, and since it's common knowledge that two of the teens already have criminal records... but such is life. Kudos to you for being professional and courteous about it.

I too wish that you were my neighbor! I own a townhouse in North Park, however my dream of the backyard mini is on hold due to my current lack of a backyard.

Your open letter to the neighborhood is excellent, and I think it will make a difference for you. Please let us know how it goes. If you ever need another old bastard to skate that mini with, please contact me! Ha ha ha. Take care.
