To access Gmail, you can also use WeMail from WeBuzz.IM ( http://webuzz.im/mail/ ). It’s in a UI similar to Gmail.

WeMail is a free web mail client service, supporting not only Gmail but also other mail providers basing on IMAP/POP3/SMTP protocols.

when I open http://66.249.83.83 this is opening the google page when I click on signup it is showling the urls is bad it can’t be found

FYI
Windows still uses the hosts file for Internet addresses. LMHOSTS is for LAN addresses. So, regardless of what platform you use, you will want to edit the hosts file.
